This client wanted to create excitement and awareness around their new layered ice cream bars through an interactive ad experience. One of the challenges with this ad space is users' limited time and attention. To create a delightful and easy-to-understand user experience, I used a cue to tell the user how to interact. I used buttons to label the choices and to identify the appropriate areas where they could interact with the interface. I incorporated button feedback styles to communicate taps to the user and placed controls in the most accessible tap areas. I created my mocks in Photoshop and built the ad unit with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
